ONTIME Productions provides aerial video and photography services legally and safely, having acquired the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Operator Certification required according to legislation.

More specifically, in July 2017, after specialized training at UAV-Air School in Great Britain, Costis Economides obtained the required Operator Certification, as well as Operator Trainer & Examiner Certification, after successfully passing the respective exams of the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority.

As of 1/1/2017, according to regulation by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, (Government Gazette 3152/30.09.2016 and 4527/30.12.2016), only professional operators, who have trained at an Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Training Center and have been certified by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority according to the category of the UAS, preserve the right to “fly” professionally.

For the legal and safe flight of a drone, the flight plan needs to be shared with the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority and Liability Insurance is required. In case the respective legislation is not observed, fines are imposed both on the operator and the person assigning the project.
